THE DEFENDER OCTA   A Powerhouse Redefining Luxury and Performance

"NOT JUST A CAR, ITS A STATEMENT THAT IGNITES ROADS"

A bold statement by JLR, Is it a new spec to add to the catalogue or is it really something different?

well here are the facts:

  • V8 Twin-Turbo mild-hybrid engine
  • BMW supplied unit pumps out up to 600 bhp
  • 6D Dynamics suspension with pitch and roll control enables outstanding all-terrain performance

The OCTA was due to be released in the second half of 2024, however a landrover spokes person has said the car will be released next year like first expected. The cost of the car really isn't cheap and comes in at GBP 110,000, however duly noted still 20 grand cheaper than an entry level G wagon. The OCTA name was derived from a diamonds octahedron formation, being the toughest natturally occuring substance on earth.

Details on the OCTA's interior are yet to emerge, but if it is to match the calibre of the performance we really are in for a treat; with the price tag where it is, this is very much to be expected. The hydronic interlinked 6D Dynamics technology features a system that will enable the defender to maintain a close to level stance whilst cornering, accelerating and braking.

With the information we have on the OCTA , it does not seem to dissapoint and further details are greatly anticipated. The OCTA IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING RIGOROUS TESTING IN THE MOUNTAINS AND THE DESERT AHEAD OF ITS FUL UNVEILING. stay tune for further news.
